101 degrees and climbing here in Oklahoma in the middle of July. I'm not letting that stop my style even though most days I would leave the house nude if it was allowed to survive in this heat. Since I cant, I will continue enjoying all of the amazing wardrobe possibilities summer always brings me! 

I am a huge fan of anything tropical themed. I feel like my closet severely lacks in that print, so I recently added a little to bring some island life to my look!
I discovered a little pinup rockabilly shop online called "Darling Dames" that brought a great outfit into my summer line up!

My Tropical Retro Look From Darling Dames!
This entire look was picked on the Darling Dames website. 
I chose these adorable high waist tropical shorts by Sourpuss Clothing and a simple black off the shoulder top by Heart of Haute. I wanted to stick with the colorful fun theme and chose some coordinating turquoise and pink strappy heels from Bettie Page Footwear. Simple black heels would have been classic but I wanted to keep this bold for summer! I finished off my look with a simple satin champagne hair flower and went on my way feeling classically retro!!

I think one of my favorite things about the Darling Dames shop is that they take part of their profits from sales and donate to local women's charities to help women everywhere succeed and move forward in their lives. To me that is amazing. I love wearing and supporting brands that go out of their way to help support others with their dreams and passions.
My style allows me to be myself and radiate that outwards. My style gives me confidence and helps me walk tall in who I am through that freedom of self expression through fashion. Darling Dames helps bring that to women with their shop.

As I sit here drinking another cup of coffee I am thinking about my newest episode being way to long. "No one wants to listen to you talk that long." I tell myself. I always compare my content with other bloggers and YouTuber's and wonder if I am wasting my time. I suck at the lingo you are supposed to use in the videos these days. "Don't forget to like and subscribe!" "Ding that bell!" I mean I always try to remember to say those things but am I really any good at it? It feels weird to push those things. Not natural. Annoying to the follower I always worry. Maybe I am just over thinking things. Maybe I am just a worry inside my own thoughts condemning myself for still being different in ways that aren't the norm. Sigh.... The deviled eggs were boss though.
