Hello all my fellow beauty junkies! That's right, it's time for another installment of my monthly blog "A Year In Beauty" where I review and share all of my goodies from my monthly Glam Bag. Lets Jump Right In!
This months bag was pretty exciting right when I opened it. I loved the almost holographic beach umbrella bag and it quickly screamed "SUMMER!!!!'' at me. I dumped out my goodies and was super excited to first notice I finally received a The Balm product to try. Lets dig in to what I got in my July bag, how I feel about it, how I used it, and more!
My Glam Bag Brought Me....
Too Faced Cosmetics Hangover Replenishing Primer
You can't ever say anything bad about Too Faced cosmetics. This brand really puts the time in to not only bringing you adorably packaged and fun to use products, but also products that do the job! Too Faced never cuts any corners and brings us amazing products that are cruelty free. So I have to be really careful with primers in general because they always seem to break me out. It really sucks. Within one use, the next day I am a break out factory! What I loved about this primer is how light it was. I didn't feel like I was masking my skin. It gave me a light dewy finish and really moisturized my skin well. This is the first primer that brings the probiotic brightening effects of coconut water to help hydrate your skin and help your makeup last longer. It really did give my skin a great pick me up before I applied my make up.

The Balm Cosmetics Meet Matt(E) Trimony Eye shadow in "Matt Kumar"
I was so excited to finally get a product from The Balm in my Glam Bag this month. I of course love the retro packaging but I have heard great things and have wanted to test something! I received one of their matte shadows in a beautiful brick red, heavy on the burgundy side. I was really surprised with how little fall out I had with such a pigmented deep shade. It laid right down for me as smooth as can be due to it being triple milled for the smoothest application possible. This color is pretty versatile. You can wear it as a warm smokey eye for summer or fall. I fell in love right away. It also made me feel super sexy. I highly recommend adding this shade to your fall line up ladies.
*This is a cruelty free brand. I've yet to find anything on it being Vegan
Vasanti Professional Eye Shadow Brush
I've never really been the makeup girl who spends a lot on brushes and until I had my Glam Bag subscription I had no idea what I was missing in the world of quality makeup brushes. The quality of your brush really makes a difference when applying makeup. My Vasanti Professional Eye Shadow Brush picked up and laid down the most amazing eye shadow application. Serious fan of this long stemmed brush. This is a high quality nylon soft bristle brush. The great thing about this brush is its a multi-shadow tool. Its tapered shape allows you to handle all your shadow application needs with one brush.

OFRA Cosmetics Lip Liner in "Silk"
This is the second OFRA product I have gotten in my Glam Bag. I was excited to finish off my July Glam Bag look with a nude lip. This color was perfect. I loved it! A pale nude pink, I was sold. Its made with a synthetic beeswax formula for smooth application although I wasn't a fan of was how dry this lip liner felt. It reminded me of the old expired ones I would buy at the drugstore when I was a kid. When trying to apply it, I had to use some pressure to get any color transfer onto my lips and by doing this, the tip kept breaking off. I'm a fan of this brand. Great brand usually. I was a fan of this color once on, but I don't like feeling like I'm going to scratch my lips to pieces when applying. It is water proof and stayed on for a while for sure. Just a little too dry for me.

Delectable by Cake Beauty "Delectable Lemon & Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream"
What we have here is a hand cream that packs a nourishing punch! Both Shea Butter and coconut oil are factors in this amazing little number! If I could have eaten this I would have. I wanted to lick it off my hands after I put it on. This hand cream smells amazing!! Plus it is so moisturizing and no greasy feel what so ever. This is a Gluten free product as well as everything else bad for you free product! I'm a huge fan now!

The July Ipsy Glam Bag!!
Last but not least we have this months adorable bag! I love the summer vibe of this bag. Its beyond adorable and shiny! The above view of the umbrellas on the beach reminds me of home in California. Good job Ipsy!
I really enjoyed this bag a lot. It opened up a different color pallet for me than I normally use and it allowed to to express a different energy with my look. I love the brands I was able to try and now have some new labels on my "Must Have" list when shopping. This Glam Bag had great colors, great products and a great feel. I was able to embrace a more grunge side of myself that I really enjoyed.
I continued this month with looking into each brand to note who was and wasn't cruelty free as well as Vegan. I hope you are enjoying that part. I feel it's really important to know about your brands and products, I try my best to help you all with that
