Blossoming Blues

 The colors of the season are shining bright in the late setting sun and the toads are singing their lullabies early for me. Sunlight warm and heavy hanging in the leaves and dancing down to the ground around my feet. Soft grass blowing in the warm air that has yet to cool and brushes against the hem of my petticoat gently pulling it as I walk. The sky in full blossoming blue, not a cloud in sight to dull its color. Soon the sun will sleep pulling me into slumber alongside it while the moon glows in its moment to shine. As a new day blooms with the rebirth of the sun, I will welcome its shades as it bares its challenges in all their colors.
 
Hearts & Roses 


 I still can't put into words how wearing dresses as beautiful as the ones Hearts & Roses sent me make me feel. I feel like I can take on the entire world one twirl at a time. I fell in love with the color combo of the blue Royal Swing dress with its bright red, lilac and magenta blossoms. It had such feminine details from its classic tea length to the cap sleeves and sweetheart neckline. Its stunning features make it easily a dress suitable for classy events, while its cotton stretch blend and side zipper make it a comfortable dress to wear out shopping with you best gals just as quickly as an evening dinner on the boardwalk.
I truly love the colors in this design and it really is what makes the dress stand out on its own above some of my other dresses. This dress will get you more than a few eye catches to say the least. I decided to run with red accents to play off the brighter shades in the blossoms of the dress and it all came together so perfectly. 
It has a classic feel with an elegant edge. It feels comfortable yet just a tiny bit daring. A glorifying frock fit for a country Princess.


 
 The Royal Swing dress is a full skirted dress with beautiful movement and shape. I chose to wear a petticoat under mine in a coordinating red for that extra oomph! Petticoats take your swing dress to a whole other level! I highly recommend adding several colors to your closet. I was lucky enough to find a matching red garter and fuzzy red mules. I loved how the look had this electric country 50's housewife feel to it. I did a poodle with bumper bangs and tied a blue vintage sheer in my hair. All in all the look was knocked out of the park once that dress was on. I am so in love with this look inspired by a little blue swing dress with a whole lot of energy, all thanks to Hearts & Roses.

As I sit here drinking another cup of coffee I am thinking about my newest episode being way to long. "No one wants to listen to you talk that long." I tell myself. I always compare my content with other bloggers and YouTuber's and wonder if I am wasting my time. I suck at the lingo you are supposed to use in the videos these days.
