April Bag Theme "Dreamers"
I am back with another installment of my monthly blog "A Year In Beauty" were I reveal what goodies I received inside my monthly Glam bag from Ipsy! My bag seems to be coming mid to early end of the month lately which means my blog posts are a little later than normal.
So a quick breakdown for anyone new reading, Ipsy is a company that sends out monthly beauty bags with five new beauty products for you to try every month. You sign up, fill out the questions and they choose new products for you to try every month based off these answers. They are either deluxe sample sizes or full size products. The best part is it helps you learn and discover all about new brands and products with out having to go out and buy full sizes for three times the cost as this one amazing little bag with five new things to feed your beauty addiction. This month has a light sense of day dreamers weather attached to it and I couldn't wait to tear into my bright pink package when it arrived. As always remember that at any time you can click any of these photos to be taken right to the Ipsy website so you too can enjoy the magic of the Glam bag!
April always brings the rainy season here in Oklahoma and this dreamers theme was pretty fitting for the day dreamy weather we have been experiencing. I am a big fan of tye dye and this bag was soft and adorable.
My April Bag Includes....
Elizabeth Mott Show Me Your Cheeks Blush In "Peach Pink"
This blush is great and I truly enjoy it. Elizabeth Mott designed the shade to be perfect for multiple skin tones and it gives a great highlight as well. It stays on all day and is more of a natural flush with a gold shine than a bright pink. I love this blush! Whats great, is that the mind behind this brand is truly focused on making amazing cosmetics for all women and it shows in this blush alone. Beautiful color, great quality, long lasting and totally worth your time.
OFRA Cosmetics Eye shadow in "Bohemian"
So lets talk about this little magical shadow. Ofra cosmetics is not some new or no name brand but a brand that has been around and well known at that for 30 years. Its creator Ofra Gaito is known for her amazing products in the industry and the quality they carry. I wasnt sure what to expect from this shadow and with one quick swipe of my finger I quickly learned I should expect a lot. This shade is almost a mossy brown shade and can be worn by so many. It has a beautiful bronze finish and could easily be used for both corner contouring, a smokey eye or as a liner. Its high impact pigment lasted all day with zero creasing even out in the heat. I would be interested in trying more shades from this brand for sure.
L.A.B.2 Live And Breathe Beauty "Just Blending In Brush"
This is the second blending brush I have received in my Glam bag this year. I can honestly say that with out this type of brush right here, smokey eyes would be a lost art. This is another great blending brush. Its soft, the perfect width and will help you achieve a lot in your eye looks. One of my favorite things about this brush is that the brand focuses on being cruelty free!! Also the "FiberLuxe Technology" allows for the best pigment pick up a brush can offer which is a very important factor when it comes to shadow. This little baby is a great multitasker as well and is great at applying highlight to smaller areas like the bridge of your nose and inner eye corners.
Moroccanoil "Moroccanoil Treatment"
The first time I used this amazing product was when my Aunt Bev came home from the salon with her first blow out. She told me to try it and its amazing for frizz. OMG!!! I cracked open the bottle and the amazing smell hit me first, I had to try not to pour it all over my body. I used it in my hair and couldn't believe the shine and moisture. I dye and heat style my hair a lot so this is a life saver for my locks. I forgot all about it until it showed up in my Glam bag this month and it was like revisiting an old lover! This oil is great for dry lack luster hair. It smells amazing and will make your hair shine like the stars! You use a little bit in damp or dry hair and work from the tips up to not cause too much grease. Its an amazing multi-tasking oil that will help a lot of hair issues. But like always, if you have greasy hair its one to stay away from. Thank you Ipsy for reminding me of how amazing this product is!!

Tarte Cosmetics LipSurgence Lip Creme in "Wonder"
I have always been a fan of Tarte but I've never really tried to many of their products due to price. I love their mascara so I was excited to finally try a lip product that I have always drooled over. I love a good chubby lip pencil. These are great for all bags and purses and usually hold great pigment and moisture. This Tarte lip creme did just that! I thought it would go on sheer but no way! This little pencil held a lot of pigment that laid down so smooth. It also lasted for several hours out in the sunny heat while walking around Downtown with my boys. Its infused with their famous maracuja oil and leaves your lips fully moisturized. The great thing about this is that it has build-able color and can be used as a cheek color while on the go!! Also this is another cruelty free brand we can buy from safely!!

The April Ipsy Glam Bag!
Iv'e always been a fan of tie-dye and I really just loved the soft nature of this bag mixed with the cool blues and bright yellows. This big is in my top favorites for sure.
This months Glam bag was pretty great to say the least. I was re introduced to an old favorite and also some new favorites. I loved the selection of products and how when combined was a great spring smokey bronzed look. Together these products can be both subtle and dramatic and I love being able to do both with just three products.
So once again Ipsy, thank you for always feeding my love for beauty and helping me discover new products and brands that cater to my passion!
Check out my bronzed lids, rosy cheeks and perfectly poppy toned lips created with my goodies this month!
