Lip Color Review: Hard Candy Velvet Mousse Matte Lip Color with Emily Doll TVD

Lip Review!
Hard Candy's New
"Velvet Mousse Matte Lip Color"
with
Emily Doll TVD

Hard Candy has been a favorite cosmetic brand of mine since before they moved from high end retailers sold next to Urban Decay to being a mass brand sold in the aisles of Wal-Mart.
This brand has always been pretty amazing in many areas. From their good quality to their fun packaging they have it down! Hard Candy is even Cruelty Free and Vegan Friendly.

This Spring has been big for Hard Candy Cosmetics and they have launched several new products. Kits, face products, contouring helpers and a lot more! One of my favorite products this Spring is their new Velvet Mousse Matte Lip Colors. I love anything matte and these are truly luxurious and amazing.

I'm going to spot light three colors from their Velvet Mousse Matte Lip Colors line that stood out to me and show you how they look!

Remember to click the photos to be taken to the Hard Candy website!
The colors I will be showing you today are
Top to bottom
-Tulip
-Hibiscus
-Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea

This is a beautiful pale pink shade with a cool undertone. I've never been a pale pastel pink lip color girl but this one wore well. Its coverage was pretty good as well but took about two coats before you couldn't see through it anymore. Once it dried it was comfortable and stayed put. This shade can easily be worn as a retro pink!

Hibiscus

This shade in the Velvet Mousse line is a pastel orange coral. Corals were really popular back in the late 50's and 60's and this one can easily fall into that look. It's coverage due to it being a warmer shade was better than the pink. It is a little brighter and more extreme than the last. I liked it!

Tulip

This was clearly my favorite color in the Velvet Mousse lip line. Its a beautiful red with a cool undertone. It covered flawlessly and went on so smooth. This shade is the perfect add to any red lovers lip collection.

Blue Red

Hard Candy's newest add to their lip line is amazing in my opinion. They go on so smooth and have great pigment. They aren't all day wear due to them not being as dry as most matte lip colors and having a higher oil content but that also aides in the comfort in wear. They stay on really well with only a few touch ups through out the day. I have only shown you three colors I would call my must have shades for spring but there are several more. Shades ranging from nudes to dark purple and for $6 bucks you could easily buy them all!
Hard Candy is only sold in Wal-Mart so to buy, visit their website to find your nearest location!
