No Bull Beauty Special MEGA Review
Doll Talks Blog ReCap
with Emily Doll
I recently had one of the most exciting things to happen to me to date! I arrived home after picking up my youngest son from PreK, only to find the most beautiful bright pink box waiting for me. Beauty Blender and the influencer team I work with Influenster, sent me a massive box of the limited edition BB Queen Beauty Blenders as well as their amazing new Keep It Clean cleaning mitt. This was crazy to open as you can imagine because it was like opening a treasure chest! I quickly ran to my room to film a first reaction video and share the experience with all of you my friends!
What I received from Beauty Blender & Influenster was the Original Beauty Blender sponge in limited edition Beauty Queen packaging which runs for $20.00. This is a beauty sponge made with non latex foam that is made out of an Aqua Activated material that keeps your product from absorbing deep into your sponge and more on the surface for better application and saving you product! It is the perfect egg shape to fit in all the places you need to have a perfect foundation application or contour blend out! There are no harsh edges or seams to mess with your makeup routine. Once wet, it expands to twice its size for no bull blending. Ha! See what I did there. So basically we have a beauty sponge, much like what your mom used but 100 % better in every way. Not only does this sponge apply makeup the way it claims, but it fits your life. It helps save you product which helps save you money, and it is washable and reusable for up to 3 months before needing to be replaced. That leads me to my next product...
Along with the beauty blenders I was also sent the best way to keep them clean. The BeautyBlender Keep It Clean kit is a simple way to keep your blenders in tip top shape and lasting their full 3 month life span. BeautyBlender put together this cleaning kit to help you get the most out of your sponges. This kit also runs for $20 dollars on most sites and comes with the textures cleaning mitt, a mini BlenderCleanser solid, and sample of BlenderCleanser liquid. I have some pros and cons about this one, and I wouldn't be No Bull Beauty if I wasn't fully honest. The Keep It Clean mitt does what it says, it cleans your beauty blenders with no problem. I show in my recent YouTube review video for the Beauty Blenders in the clip where I test out my own mitt, that it does clean the sponge well. I tested it with the liquid cleanser they sent, and wore it on my hand as shown but I did struggle with keeping it on my hand once wet and soapy. I have very small hands so it might just be a size issue, but it was harder to clean with the slippery mitt on. Once complete, I had what I came for, a clean sponge!!! Where the mitt did its job I just don't see it being realistic in my beauty routine. I much preferred their full size Solid BenderCleanser, which is $16 dollars and comes in a 1oz size with a much smaller palm size textured rubber cleansing matt, that I felt not only was easier for me to use, but I felt it cleaned my sponge faster and better. I think the Keep It Clean Mitt is awesome just not needed for me. I did try to use the BeautyBlender brand cleaners on my cheaper beauty sponges and not only could it not fully clean them due to how deep the product was in the sponge, it ripped!!
Ultimately after taking the special fancy limited edition BB Queen packaging off I was reviewing the Original Beauty Blender. I have to say, I am extremely happy with my results. Not only does the original Beauty Blender do its job, it does it the best! Most may think its just another beauty sponge with a huge price tag, well you are wrong just like I was! You really are getting way more for your money with the original and not just a larger chunk of a cheap beauty sponge because that is exactly what the knock off blenders from the drug store are, just bigger versions of the cheap rip off sponges. You are getting the best makeup application a beauty sponge can give you as well as saving money on product because this sponge isn't a thief! and with the 3 month life span when you clean your blenders properly, you are also saving money on replacement sponge that you now have to buy less of! All in all I would have to say it is totally worth the few extra bucks to get the original Beauty Blender because it really is worth the money. Spend more now and save a lot later. I love that in a beauty product!
For No Bull Beauty Reviews, this is a knock out of the park and Beauty Blender will forever have a home in my beauty arsenal.

As I sit here drinking another cup of coffee I am thinking about my newest episode being way to long. "No one wants to listen to you talk that long." I tell myself. I always compare my content with other bloggers and YouTuber's and wonder if I am wasting my time. I suck at the lingo you are supposed to use in the videos these days. "Don't forget to like and subscribe!" "Ding that bell!" I mean I always try to remember to say those things but am I really any good at it? It feels weird to push those things. Not natural. Annoying to the follower I always worry. Maybe I am just over thinking things. Maybe I am just a worry inside my own thoughts condemning myself for still being different in ways that aren't the norm. Sigh.... The deviled eggs were boss though. So there is that silver lining. Signed, The Doll #MCWTD_RECAP I hope you enjoyed this weeks MCWTD and also let me know if you try the egg trick and how it works out ...
Sponsored by Baubles & Soles "One shoe... Endless possibilities." Baubles & Soles was created by a new mom with a simple plan looking for a more effective way of providing shoes that made more sense not only for a child's wardrobe but also for parents wallets. She struggled with the same issue that many parents struggle with, their child needing multiple pairs of shoes to match outfits just for them to Seen on Shark Tank outgrow them in a month! So she had an idea. Children out grow shoes so quickly so why not create the need to only have to replace one pair of shoes instead of five and have that one pair of shoe hold the place of all of those shoes at once! "One shoe to go from playground to party." One shoe to replace but multiple options that continue to grow with the child. It's brilliant!! For the next two years she worked endlessly with her family creating the ideal shoe that she herself would be proud to put on her own ...
